Famous Manhattan Hotel Installs UHF-RFID Uniform System to Streamline Operations


The New York Palace is a famous hotel in Manhattan which has 813 guest rooms and 86 suites, including the prominent Towers accommodations, showcasing exceptional views of the city skyline, elegant furnishings and enhanced features. In addition to full concierge services and a lengthy list of in-room amenities, The Palace offers 22,000 square feet of unique meeting and event space, a fitness center and spa; and a convenient location that positions the property as an ideal choice among Midtown luxury hotels for business or leisure guests.

Recently, the hotel is undergoing some upgrades in many areas. The renovation will cost $140,000,000, establishing the hotel as a new luxury stand bearer in New York City.

In addition to sophisticated, modern design elements, the property operators also wanted to streamline operations and create a more efficient hotel. One part of the property’s transformation included automation of the uniform system that delivers garments to more than 1,000 employees.
